One More Mountain – A Poem about Struggles for Christians

One more mountain. Christians experience struggles in life just like everyone else. The difference is that we have a source of help in the Lord to see us through, giving us strength and building our character. I have struggled through chronic pain for many years. God gave me this poem in a time of particular distress. My prayer is that it will encourage you. I would love to hear your comments!

REGENER8 For Street Smart Teens by Robert Cook

REGENER8: Straight Talk for Street Smart Teens is different from most books I feature but one of you knows someone who needs it, a teen, parent, or youth pastor. Our World Aflame Part Seven: The Path to Reconciliation

The path to reconciliation. I thought my summer series on Our World Aflame had ended. Yesterday in church, I discovered God had another message, that of hope in a world gone mad. Place of Judgment–Place of Glory

My husband and I recently repeated a part of our honeymoon trip for our 40th wedding anniversary. We visited Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks. The incredible beauty of this part of God’s creation started my mind working on spiritual themes I had not expected–themes involving a place of judgment–place of glory. Join me for some thoughts on tone of the messages of Yellowstone National Park and what lessons believers and non-believers alike can learn.
